Current Projects:
The Outreach Committee will be collecting food items for the Bread Basket and the student pantry at Central Carolina Community College. The Bread Basket needs package mixes such as gravy, spaghetti, salad dressings, taco seasoning, and chili. They also need oil and mayonnaise. The Student Pantry at CCCC needs microwavable and prepackaged food products, such as soups, cereals, and snacks. Nuts, dried fruit, trail mixes, and noodle packs are also good.
There will be baskets in the Narthex and under the table in the Lower Parish Hall for your donations. If you are not a shopper, the committee has team members who will do the running. Just let us know and write a check to St. Thomas marked for Outreach. If you have any questions, please call or text Joann at 504-957-3540. The Outreach Committee will be distributing gift cards to the moms at HAVEN for Mother’s Day. Thank you for your help and generosity!
